We at Sturgeon Creek Arabians have been breeding Arabian
horses since 1985. We are located near Beausejour,
Manitoba, Canada, only 35 miles northeast of the capital
city of Manitoba, Winnipeg.
We believe in producing an Arabian that typifies what
the great Arabian horse was meant to be, the ultimate
athlete. We have used only the best Russian and Polish
bloodlines to produce horses with great movement, sound
and correct conformation, and willing attitudes. See
our
About Us
page for more details.

STURGEON CREEK ARABIANS
ENDURANCE/COMPETITIVE TRAIL RIDE INCENTIVE PROGRAM
Effective September 1, 2011
Sturgeon Creek Arabians is proud of our many SCA-bred
horses that have competed in endurance and
competitive trail riding! We would like you to
offer you an opportunity to join our list of
successful SCA-bred horses.
As of September 1, 2011, if you purchase an SCA-bred
horse from us, you are eligible to join our
Incentive Program.
For every mile in which you and your SCA-bred horse
compete, in a
sanctioned endurance or competitive trail
ride that you complete, we will give you $0.50 per
completed mile. The Incentive Program is linked to
the horse, and transfers to the new owner if you
subsequently sell your SCA-bred horse.
We have created
a
mileage
form
that you can download and use to record your
completed miles. You will find a link to this
mileage form on our Endurance page and our Sales
page. You should print the form in
“Landscape” to get all the columns.
The form is to be submitted once a year,
by email or mail, to cover the ride period
December 1st to November 30th.
(This is the AERC ride season). |

The American Endurance Ride Conference (AERC)
created the Decade Team membership to
recognize riders who “have
ridden your own horse in an AERC
sanctioned 50-mile and up endurance ride
for at least ten ride seasons”. Each
rider responds to interview questions
designed “…to see what we can learn from
these people, enjoy their stories and
see who they are since they are still
currently riding their horses.”
Susan’s “barn name” for
Be My Love
is “Meela”. Susan
says “I
believe that she looks into my soul”.
Here is a
link to Susan Friedman’s story about her
ride experiences on

We wish Susan and
