Balarina

This mare is bred very closely to Reason To Believe. Her sire was Pyatigorsk, the same sire as Reason’s. Her dam, Balakara, is an *El Kasaka NSB daughter out of Balalinda, who was Resza’s first foal. Resza was Reason To Believe’s dam. Balarina has four lines to PRIBOJ and TAKTIKA (all through *Pietuszok PASB), and two lines to PRIBOJ through other daughters of *Pietuszok PASB.

Balarina is being saddle-trained. She is in foal to Philosophy for a 2013 foal.

This mare has four lines to PRIBOJ x TAKTIKA all through *Pietuszok PASB, and two lines to the PRIBOJ son POMERANETS. She also has all of Balalovja’s line-breeding to AMURATH SAHIB and her ultimate female tail line traces to Resza, dam of Reason To Believe.

Her full sister, Be My Love, was sold in California and competed in endurance. Be My Love has 2,265 miles with 48 completions out of 51 starts and 12 Top Ten finishes and 1 win.

1991 Chestnut Mare

This mare’s dam was TW Czorta, full sister to SAMSUN who held the North American record for 5 furlongs for 12 years. She has been an excellent broodmare. Her first colt, Priority Post, was sold to an endurance rider in Quebec. Her second colt, Privy Councillor, was sold to Kate Tancer in California as an endurance horse. Her son, Photon, and her filly, Czarina, both by Philosophy, are excellent. She carries the blood of *SABELLINA PASB through her son *SAMBOR PASB, and has two lines to POMERANETS by PRIBOJ and two lines to PIOLUN, sire of PRIBOJ. Her dam, TW Czorta, was bred by Dr. Sam Harrison, recognized as the father of Arabian racing in the US. Czorta’s sire was SAMTYR, who was US National Champion Racehorse, and his sire *SAMBOR PASB was also US National Champion Racehorse.

Czorteena is in foal to Philosophy for a 2013 foal.

This *Dolly NSB grand-daughter is essentially line-bred to *SABELLINA PASB, as her pedigree contains both *SABELLINA PASB and her full sister *SAKWA PASB. She has four lines to PRIBOJ x TAKTIKA, three lines to ARAX, and two to *SALON RASB. 

Dancing Queen had her first foal, Dance Proudly, a chestnut filly, on June 1, 2012, sired by Perseverence.

Hanako has four lines to PRIBOJ x TAKTIKA, and is 28.13% *Pietuszok PASB.  She also has two more lines to PRIBOJ through his daughters.  She also traces to the same female family as Reason To Believe.  Two of Hanako’s full brothers flat-raced and did very well: MATRIXX 2/10(1,5,0) and MARRON 1/5(2,1,0).

Hanako’s full sister, Hiroko, has completed 18 of 27 starts, totalling 945 AERC miles; 1 BC; 12 Top Tens and 1 second placing.

2009 Grey Mare

Memorable Moment was sired by Philosophy, whose sire, PISTASCHIO, set a track record. Philosophy’s full sister, Spirited Music, completed the Tevis Cup.

Memorable Moment’s breeding is mostly Russian, and her pedigree contains all of its major elements: *Salon RASB, PRIBOJ, ARAX and Aswan. She has three strong lines to the Latif sire line via Kumir.  She is 25% Pyatigorsk; Pyatigorsk sired three Stakes winners, several race winners and many successful endurance horses.  15.65% of her genetic make-up comes from PRIBOJ x TAKTIKA, as her pedigree includes several of their offspring: *Pietuszok PASB (4); PLATINA (1); PTASHKA (1); TOPOL (2). She is also in-bred 9.38% to the stallion *PESNIAR RASB 4x6x6 and has one infusion of the great Polish race broodmare *SABELLINA PASB.

Through her maternal grand-dam, Moment of Mine (our foundation mare), Memorable Moment traces to the Milordka dam line through ESTOKADA.  Moment of Mine produced the successful endurance horses: Mistansza, Seek The Moment and Savour The Moment.

This mare has five lines to PRIBOJ and TAKTIKA: three lines through Russian Triple Crown winner TOPOL and two lines to *Pietuszok PASB. She is very much TOPOL phenotype. Her dam line is the same as Reason To Believe and traces to ARFA through another of her daughters.

Mirasol had her first foal, SCA Mirror Image, a bay filly, on May 13, 2012 sired by IMAGINE THAT MA.

My Grand Madame

1995 Bay Mare

This mare is 25% PRIBOJ x TAKTIKA with THREE lines, one through TOPOL and two through *Pietuszok PASB, and three additional lines to PRIBOJ.  Phenotypically, she is very much TOPOL type.  She traces through her female tail to ARFA, dam of *ARWISTAWA PASB, and hence this is the same family that produced Reason To Believe.

My Grand Madame is a half-sister to Hiroko by Pyatigorsk.  Hiroko has completed 18 of 27 endurance races and 945 miles.  She earned 1 Best Conditioned award, 12 Top Ten and 1 second place finishes.  A half-brother to My Grand Madame, Paradigm Shift by Pyatigorsk, has 1,480 completed miles with a 100% completion rate.

We sent My Grand Madame to New Mexico to be bred to *Ghazni GASB to reinforce the TOPOL in her pedigree, and her filly Mirasol is what we had hoped for.  My Grand Madame produced an outstanding colt (Vested Legacy) to the PISTASCHIO son, Vortexx.  Vortexx has two lines to PRIBOJ x TAKTIKA through PLATINA and PTASHKA, and two additional lines to PRIBOJ.

She had a chestnut filly, SCA My Imagination, sired by IMAGINE THAT MA on April 28, 2011.

1992 Bay Mare

This mare has two lines to PRIBOJ x TAKTIKA, and four lines to other PRIBOJ offspring. In addition, she has four lines to the French stallion Kann, who was imported to Russia from France in the 1930s. The French have long been known for racing their Arabians. Panarama was described by Dr. George Allen as being the best *ARPAN RASB daughter he has seen. Dr. Allen imported *ARPAN RASB from Russia, where he had been a very good racehorse. 

She had a bay colt, Perpetual Motion, sired by Peregyne on April 23, 2011.

This mare has size and substance to go along with a tremendous trot! She is the dam of Paper Chase by Philosophy, and Opus One and JV Trinity by Opuss.
